Last leg of the roadshow and NORAD coming up
It's been a busy month, and about to get busier as the Naden Band wraps up its Naval Centennial Roadshow with a ten day tour of the Kootenays (the southeastern region of British Columbia). I've been playing with the Washington-Cooke Trio during the weekends I've been off, and also am preparing for November's Ensemble Pacifica concert.
Next month holds much promise as the jazz quartet from the Naden Band is being sent down to NORAD in Colorado Springs to celebrate the Navy Centennial. We've already booked a tour of Cheyenne Mountain, where the movie Wargames was filmed.

Washington-Cook Trio and Touring BC
I'm playing with the Washington-Cooke Trio at Evedar's Bistro in Langford (2829 Peatt Road) from 6:30pm-8:30pm this Saturday September 11th. Great food, cozy atmosphere, fabulous musicians.
The Naden Band is back from FIMMQ in Québec City and the PNE in Vancouver. We have a week to go until our second last Canadian Naval Centennial Roadshow tour. From the 16th until the 22nd, we'll be visiting Nanaimo, Courtenay, Powell River, Sechelt, Richmond, and Chilliwack.

On the way to FIMMQ
I'm heading to Quebec City to participate in the Festival International de Musiques Militaires de Quebec with the Naden Band. For more information, cliquer ici. After that, it's the Pacific National Exhibition (PNE) in Vancouver.
JazzFest Video
Here's a video I took at a recent gig with Peter Jones and Damian Graham as part of the Victoria JazzFest.
